Uzziah (Uzziahu, Azariah, Azariahu) ben Amatzya (II Kings 15: 1-7; I Chronicles 3:12; II Chronicles 16)

Tenth king of Yehuda.  Uzziah ascends the throne at age 16 and rules in Jerusalem for 52 years. He is a strong king who defeats various enemies such as the Philistines and Ammonites. 

The Prophet Hoshea: Hoshea ben Be’eri

A prophet during the late First Temple period. From the first verse of Hoshea's  book we learn that the prophet was active during the tenure of the Israelite king Yerovam ben Yoash,  as well as during the reigns of four Judean kings: Uzziah ben Amatzya,  Yotam ben Uzziah,  Ahaz ben Yotam,  and Hizkiahu ben Ahaz,  who were Yehuda's 10th to 13th kings.

In the eyes of the people, Aharon, the lover and seeker of peace, could do no wrong; and it appears that for many, Moshe, the lawgiver and sermonizer, could do no right.

"לְדָוִד מִזְמוֹר חֶסֶד וּמִשְׁפָּט אָשִׁירָה לְךָ ה' אֲזַמֵּרָה" (תהילים ק"א, א)

"מִי כַּה' אֱלֹהֵינוּ הַמַּגְבִּיהִי לָשָׁבֶת 
 הַמַּשְׁפִּילִי לִרְאוֹת בַּשָּׁמַיִם וּבָאָרֶץ 
 מְקִימִי מֵעָפָר דָּל מֵאַשְׁפֹּת יָרִים אֶבְיוֹן 
 לְהוֹשִׁיבִי עִם נְדִיבִים עִם נְדִיבֵי עַמּוֹ" (ה-ח)

"הָרִיעוּ לַה' כָּל הָאָרֶץ פִּצְחוּ וְרַנְּנוּ וְזַמֵּרוּ" (תהילים צ"ח, ד)

"הריעו לה' כל הארץ" - אפילו האומות יש להם להריע ולשמוח בישועת ישראל, כי בישועתם תהיה תשועה לכל העולם שלא תהיה עוד מלחמה בעולם בין גוי לגוי.
