The plagues being brought upon Egypt continue, as does Pharoh's obstinancy. Until we reach the 10th plague, that is, the plague of the firstborn.

Pharoh seeks out Moses and Aaron and begs them to leave Egypt.

"And Pharoh arose in the middle of the night…" Comments Rashi: "himself, and starting searching for his servants".

The letter "pei" at the beginning of the word "Pharoh" is curved, thereby alluding to the fact that Pharoh bent over and wrinkled his mouth as he was forced to change his mind from not letting the Children of Israel leave Egypt to begging them to leave- and to do so quickly. (Sefer Rokeiach on the Torah)

In the entire area of the portion in which Pharoh demands that Moses leave Egypt there are curved letters "pei", perhaps to show us how Pharoh both refused to let the Children of Israel leave- and then begging them to leave.
