A stream in the Valley of Yezre’el (Jezreel Valley) which flows west, between the Carmel and the hills of the Lower Galilee, toward the Valley of Akko (Acre). In the war fought by Devorah and Barak against Sisra, the  sudden overflowing of Nahal Kishon helped lead to the defeat of Sisra. Eliyahu also slaughtered the prophets of Baal at Nahal Kishon.
