Kadesh Barnea, also called Kadesh, Ein Mishpat (Spring of Judgement), and Mei Meriva, is a desert oasis and settlement in the northeastern Sinai.

  • Moshe sent the spies to scout the Land of Canaan from Kadesh Barnea and there they returned with their report (Numbers 13, 26).
  • Miriam died and was buried at Kadesh (Numbers 20, 1).
