Sidon (Tzidon) is the name of a major Phoenician city, north of Tyre (Tzor).

• Zevulun is described as being next to Sidon (Genesis 39, 13).
• After Eliyahu declares a drought in the days of Ahav, God commands Eliyahu to go to Tzorfat in the vicinity of Sidon where a widow would provide him with sustenance (I Kings 17, 9).
