Summary
Yabok is a stream on the eastern bank of the Jordan that flows into the Jordan River.
- Yaakov crossed the Yabok pass while returning from Paddan Aram, and there he struggled with the Divine messenger (Genesis 32, 23).
- Yabok is described as a border between the lands of King Sihon the Amorite (conquered by Bnei Yisrael), and the lands of Bnei Amon (Numbers 21, 24).
