Website Accessibility

Website Accessibility

An accessible website is a site that enables people with disabilities and older individuals to browse with the same level of efficiency and enjoyment as all other users. Herzog College believes in and works towards equal opportunities on the internet for people with various disabilities and those who use assistive technology for computer use.

Information about the Accessibility of the Tanakh Website:

• This website complies with the requirements of the Equal Rights for Persons with Disabilities Regulations (Service Accessibility), 2013.

• Accessibility adjustments were made according to Israeli Standard (IS 5568) for internet content accessibility at the AA level and WCAG 2.0 International Document.

• Testing was conducted for the highest compatibility with the Chrome browser.

• The website provides a semantic structure for assistive technologies and supports the accepted usage pattern for operation with a keyboard, using arrow keys, Enter, and Esc to exit menus and windows.

• The website is adapted for display in common browsers and on mobile phones.

• To achieve the best browsing experience with screen-reading software, we recommend using the most up-to-date version of the NVDA program.

• Documents or video clips uploaded to the site before October 2017 may not be fully accessible. If you encounter such a document or video, please contact the accessibility coordinator of Herzog College, and we will make the information accessible to you.

• Providing Information in an Accessible Format – The company offers its customers the option to receive information in accessible formats. Providing the information is free of charge and intended for people with disabilities. For inquiries and information about accessibility, please contact the company's accessibility coordinator, whose details appear below.

Ways to Contact for Requests and Improvement Proposals Regarding Accessibility:

Please note that we continue our efforts to improve Herzog College's accessibility as part of our commitment to enable the entire population, including people with disabilities, to receive the most accessible service possible.
